I
have never before seen such an all-out war on words. The world is divided into
two camps. They are ideological in nature: one believes in the science that is
presented to us, usually left politically, the other believes in true science
and God, and usually right politically. Enough said.
What I want to talk about is the term, “conspiracy theory.” I don’t know if people look up the actual meaning or not. I did. It’s not much different than the definition of science - it is all theoretical until proven it actually exists or works. The real question is, who are you going to believe?
Well, I had this big revelation about after Jesus died on the cross AND rose again. Can you imagine the doubters that had no explanation for it? They went down in history as unbelievers and passed on their interpretation of Jesus dying on the cross to save us all, to simply a fictional story. Some erased the life-saving event altogether.
It
seems that, as Jesus said, in this day and age of misinformation ON BOTH SIDES
OF THE SPECTRUM, that some are having a hearing problem.
Mat 11:15 He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
The mainstream news media, if you haven’t noticed, are all one-sided. If you are not far left, you will rarely hear another opinion from the right. In fact, the far left will ridicule and insult the right, and sometimes vice-versa. The news is, without a doubt, censored, and designed to get us all thinking left-wing politically. Anything else is debunked. I have lots of examples, most recently the Freedom Truckers and the sad single-minded and slanted, albeit incomplete story of the truckers actual protest. If people bothered to hear and listen outside of the news media, the protests were about dropping government mandates that are no longer relevant for our fast-approaching post-pandemic world. The freedom they are fighting for is what we have all lost, the right to respectfully make our own decisions like we always had before the pandemic and heavy-handed government inspired mandates. The truckers were one of the most peace-loving protests ever to walk on Canadian soil. What a sham and a lie that the word “terrorist” was ever uttered in the same sentence as the Freedom Truckers. Such inexcusable behaviour by the politicians and news media should be met with a substantial challenge in court.
Is it any wonder that many of the articles being presented on social media are from right-wing news media that have been shut out by the mainstream news media because of differing views? Just because they’re not allowed to voice a different opinion on the mainline news media platforms doesn’t mean they don’t have merit. You might as well say conspiracy theorists includes absolutely everyone, because at the end of the day, WHO DO YOU BELIEVE?
So, I come to a very important part of my blog: the reason there is so much bickering and confusion is that we have largely left GOD out of the equation. Without His constant truth to guide us, you can’t really believe anyone, can you? God has an agenda, and that is that we walk in truth.
3Jn 1:3 For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.
3Jn 1:4 I have no greater joy
than to hear that my children walk in truth.
The world’s agenda is entirely different because they have their own self-interests at heart. Jesus warned and admonished His followers of this:
Joh 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
Joh 15:20 Remember the word that I
said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have
persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they
will keep yours also.
Everything that we read must be censored with the Word of God, for God cannot lie. His Word is truth, and He will give us wisdom when it comes to believing what is true and what is not true. May we pray about every piece of information that comes across our path. And put our trust in God, not the popular opinions of man which seem to change daily.
